Standards Verification for OT2 & OT3
Pearson standards verification is currently being conducted for Level 2 and Level 3 Operator Technician (OT2 and OT3) portfolios as part of the ongoing competence certification cycle.
The verification process ensures that all candidate portfolios meet the required standards set by Pearson BTEC for vocational qualifications in the oil and gas sector. Each portfolio is reviewed against specific learning outcomes and assessment criteria, with the verifier checking evidence quality, assessor judgments, and internal quality assurance processes.
Once the standards verification is completed successfully, certification will be processed for all verified candidates. This milestone represents a significant achievement for the candidates who have dedicated considerable effort to compiling their workplace evidence and completing the assessment requirements.
